Keeley had left Marcus's office in little disarray and adjusted her clothing correctly as she exited and smiled at passerbys as she headed into the tack room grabbing a black halter and a new white lead line from her big tack area. She couldn't help but be spoiled by her well-off family, riding was her life. Leaving the tack room she approached the stall of a palomino stallion that looked terrible. Kee had been carefully adding more grain for him and hay to hopefully bring up his health and he'd gained a few pounds since she'd had him. Wallking out to a round pen she used her hands to command the stallion to go around the pen and in which gaits he would use. He's so skinny Marcus.

Marcus followed Keeley to the stable and looked at the stallion. He was in horrible shape. His ribs and hips sticking out. Marcus shook his head. He just wanted to hurt the people who did this. As she led the stallion out he got a look at the horses feet. They'd have to be done soon. When she let the stallion go in the pen Marcus nodded to her. "Come out here, i'd like to get a look at him," he told her. Not rudely but in a i've done this before and know what i'm doing so listen way. He walekd in and pulled some carrots out of his pocket. "Hey big guy, you ain't lookin to good," he said as he soke softly to the stallion.

KEELEY RENEE GRANT;

Keeley moved out of the pen, watching from the outside railing as Marcus approached the terribly skinny and beat up palomino stallion. Her heart went out to the poor horse. She was so lucky she'd found him that one night, laying down in a ditch next to the highway a gash gaping from his chest his bones sticking out everywhere. Kee had not known what to do with the poor stallion and her boyfriend of the time had suggested shooting him but she couldn't, there was too much life left in his eyes. Closing her eyes she blinked away the memory and again adjusted her blue eyed stare on Marcus and Nymph. I plan on working with him almost everyday for a few, he's very agressive at times and shy. As she spoke she watched as the stallion freaked suddently, throwing his limbs every which way.

Marcus nodded and stepped back. sLiding out of the bars as the stallion bucked and went wild. Her rubbed his hand over his face and stared at the stallion for a moment before his attention turned to Keeley. "All you should do for a while is just get him used to you. Sit in a pen or a stall with him. Feed him carrots and oats and anything else that he'll eat. He needs more fat and muscle." Marcus explained to her. He took a deep breath. Sitting down on a rail he turned to the palomino as he spoke to Keeley. "What have you named him?" he asked.

KEELEY RENEE GRANT;

Kee listened to Marcus's words, admiring his wisedom and really thinking it all over as she watched him climb the rail. Her parents had suggested the same thing and from experience she knew the best way to get a working bond with a horse was to establish the pack by using the join-up technique. Alouette and all the other horses she'd been around had always behaved amazingly with the technique. I know, he's a fan of apples more then carrots and I make a special warm mash for him every night filled with supplements and vitamins since his body doesn't have any reserves. Sighing Keeley hefted herself onto the rail, wishing to be closer to Marcus but respectivly distancing herself from him.

Marcus nodded as he listened to her with half his mind. "If he eats all of it try giving him a bit more then he's getitng now. See how much he'll eat." he todl her. It wasn't good to just feed horses a whole lot if they've been starved but he was getting food steadily so it was better now. Marcus stepped down from the rail and grabbed four or five flakes of hay form the square bale by the pen. HE tossed them in and smiled up at Keeley. "I read in your file that you have used join-up before and i like that, but with him we need him to have a little more fat on him before we start workign him liek that," he explained to Keeley.

KEELEY RENEE GRANT;

Keeley listened to him paying little attention as she watched the palomino stallion, her voice whispering to the stallion in a soft manner as she slowly climbed down the railing and into his pen, steadily walking towards him and digging in her pocket and bringing out a hidden horse treat. Offering it too him she delighted as he approached her and nibbled it gently out of her hand, enthralled by her happyness. Unexpectedly the stallion reared and jumped out towards her, baring his teeth. Screaming Kee fought to get to the edge of the corral but somehow a tooth connected with her shoulder blade driving into the bone as he threatened to crush her with his own body. Cringing she fought to move her already beaten body into the fetal position as she allowed her vocals to stretch tightly as she half screamed. MARCUS! Fear filled her everyword, she was hopeless against the creature with flaing limbs as she hunkered beside the railing her body barely being able to move as she tried to get out, stuck hopelessly. Nymph showed no relentless as he reared and chased Kee around the pen, snapping at his everywhim and kicking out..

Marcus watched almost proudly as Keeley walked into the round pen. A carrot in her hand. A smile spread across his face and he was about to leave the two peacefully together when Nymph freaked and attacked Keeley. Marcus jumped the fence and threw his hands up in the air. Grabbing a whip off the rail and cracking it infront of him. He stood between Keeley and Nymph. His face hard as he cracked the whip. Scaring Nymph into the corner where the horse stood quivering. Marcus picked Keeley up and slid out the gate. Carrying her to his apartment he set her down on the couch. "Hey, its okay now," he todl her. Wiping the hair out of her face.

KEELEY RENEE GRANT;

Keeley grasped for breath as Marcus pulled her out and barely stopped herself from clinging to him. Her mind raced with thoughts as he carried her to his apartment. Why had Nymph acted as such and hadn't done it to Marcus. Because she was smaller might come into play but something else had to be invovled. But what? Catching Marcus's words and feeling his hand pull her hair away she looked up at him, her composure regained and thinking lines scrunching her brow. Marcus what happened?

As soon as she spoke to him MArcus grabbed her up into a big hug. He pressed his face to her neck. Kissing the skin there. He was so glad she was alright. Hearing the question he pulled away. With a sigh Marcus layed her bakc on the couch. "He just got scared. I'm thinking it happened because of his past. Do you know anything about him?" Marcus asked. Pondering the stallions actions. Maybe he was hurt by women in his past. MAybe thats why he acted up. Then with the whip. He was completely defeated when he saw it.

KEELEY RENEE GRANT;

Keeley enjoyed the hug he gave her and smiled brightly when he kissed her cheek. Sighing she ran her nimble fingers through her hair, fixing it back to its' normal position. Thinking about his words as he spoke she stood up and looked at her arm where the horses teeth had sank into it. Feeling the burning pain now she clutched it, hoping slightly Marcus hadn't see the blood all over her arm and now fingers. Kee absolutly hated it when she got hurt and this one no doubt needed sticthes but she didn't want to worry him. Cringing slightly she spoke up again. I know he has a terrible past and was abused with cruelties. I got him from a rescue centre that was closing down they claimed him to be to wild to get through to. But I know I can reach him, I just have to change tactics.

Marcus stood up as soon as he saw her cut. He pulled her into the kitchen. the stainless steel appliances gleamed in the sun that shined through the window. He closed the blinds and set Keeley on his countertop. Pulling up her sleeve he took in a breath. Pressing a towel against the wound. "He is very dangerous Keeley," he told her as he pulled away the towel. Blood flowed a little but not as bad. He was going to have to do stitches himself. "Kee i wanna do an experiment."

KEELEY RENEE GRANT;

Keeley cringed and turned her head gracefully away from him as her face turned white when he held the towel to it. When he removed it she turned to look as the blood came out a bit slowly. Standing up Keeley took the towel from him and held it against it as she pulled a pot out of a cupboard and put water on it and set it on the new stove to boil. Searching around some more she found a needle that was used to stictch, not humans but other animals but she could make do. Plopping it in the boiling water to clean it. Turning around she walked up to Marcus placing a soft kiss on his cheek. What's the experiment? And I have something to tell you, later on. Moving away Kee began opening and closing cabinets and cupboards seeing where things where located and searching for something to stitch her wound with. She'd have to have Marcus do it but at least she could ready things while she awaited for him to speak once more to her. Cringing again as sheering pain soared through her body she bent over attempting to control it as she stood completly froze her hourglass figure shaking.

MArcus watched her as she moved aroudn the room. Her face white and pasty looking. He coudl tell it hurt like hell for her. When she dropped the needle in the water Marcus reached up into one of the cupboards and pulled down some blue thread. It would do to patch her up. When she bent over MArcus rushed to her side. Lifting her up and settign her in a cahir. He leaned down on the floor by her knees. "What did you need to tell me?" he asked. Trying to change the subject and get her distracted.

Keeley allowed him to lead her around. Settling her weight in the chair Keeley sighed heavily, not knowing how she was going to put it all in words but of course he deserved to know. Unfurrowing her brow as she tried to relax Kee tied a not in the rag where it was not blood stained. Take the needle out and go ahead and start. She trusted him and knew that it would hurt something terrible but she could deal, wouldn't be a first time. Well um..my cousin Jake got his girlfriend pregnant, well either him and another guy whose apart of a gang and quiet cruel and well..
